Back to work!

The Madame Papillon team took a break over the summer months. As we all know, it is vital to make time to rest and recuperate throughout the year, but summer is an excellent moment for reconnecting to others, nature and ourselves. We hope you had the chance to recharge your batteries too.

With activities starting again at the end of the month, the members are gearing up to bring their wellbeing and creative approaches to more women in burnout. But our workshops and discussion groups for women in burnout do not cover everything Madame Papillon is doing.

Last week, member Nathalie and board member Rebecca pitched the 2025 project 'Slow & Grow' to the jury of the Women in Business subsidy. Slow & Grow aims to bring about a small revolution in the entrepreneurial ecosystem by placing the well-being of women entrepreneurs at the heart of their business, so that it is serene, sustainable and profitable. As one of the 12 projects selected from 36 for the second round of the application process, we can be proud that our plans to accompany women after burnout as slowpreneurs resonated with these funders.

Next week is gearing up to be a busy one for the the team.

  • On Monday, members of the board Rebecca and Soledad will meet someone from the European NGO community to explore further possibilities for Madame Papillon to work on burnout prevention and awareness raising in the workplace.

  • On Wednesday, members Catherine, Emanuela, Johana and Monica will represent Madame Papillon at a European Commission Away Day with the Medical Service.

  • On Friday, the communication group of members will meet and make plans for how to better make sure everyone knows about everything that's going on within Madame Papillon!

As you can see, Madame Papillon has rolled up her sleeves and got back to work. The members are refreshed and enthusiastic about continuing their work supporting those women who have been through burnout and doing their part to improve burnout awareness and prevention in workplaces.
